Adults face many stressors and life-changes that can impact mental health: work pressure, relationships, family responsibilities, loss, transitions, chronic stress, trauma, and more. Our General Adult Psychiatry service aims to support adults at any stage of life who are experiencing mental health difficulties or simply want help navigating life’s challenges.

Our approach includes:

  • Full psychiatric evaluation and diagnostic assessment for mood disorders (depression, bipolar), anxiety disorders, PTSD/trauma, stress-related disorders, sleep disorders, substance use, personality-related issues, and more.
  • Personalized treatment planning: combining psychotherapy, behavior-based therapy, and medication management when needed. Treatment plans are collaboratively developed with clients and reviewed regularly.
  • Evidence-based therapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed therapy, and other approaches tailored to adult needs.
  • Support in managing life transitions, stress, grief, relationship issues, work-related mental health, and long-term coping strategies.
  • Monitoring progress, adjusting treatment as needed, and offering continuity of care.

Our goal is to help you regain balance, improve functioning, build resilience, and support long-term mental wellness.
